The pillow comes with 3 inserts. So I needed 3 pillow covers because the inserts are ridiculously big. Even this way, they are firmer than I like. But comfy enough. If you aren't used to goose down, you'll probably like these a lot.
I've been researching adjustable layer pillows. I can't use feather pillows due to allergies so I ordered the pancake pillow, because from what I can see Three Geese doesn't offer a down alternative. But I really wanted the case for the three geese pillow because it doesn't have feathers in it, but had fluffy padding instead (just their pillow layers have the feathers). The Three Geese case is so nice! Very high quality. Very nice fabric. The padding inside makes everything feel like it's supportive and not squishy, shifting, or slipping. It's perfect. Probably the fanciest high quality pillow case I've ever owned and for a great price too!
I bought one pillow with 3 sections, 2 extra covers and I ended up with 3 perfect pillows. The three sections are vacuum packed. When I fluffed them up, each section was just the way I like them. I like a soft pillow. Soft enough to be comfortable and still firm enough to hold it's shape. I ordered 2 extra covers and have 3 pillows. The covers have a little padding, too. I've searched for a long time to find a pillow that I really like! Ypu can't go wrong with this one!
Great concept for finding just the right pillow for you. One pillow has three inserts. We like the flatness of using just one of the three inserts so we ordered extra pillow cases and from the one pillow, we made three pillows by purchasing two extra pillow cases. Well made and comfortable!
